Scott delivered for us a wonderful pondless stream which more than exceeded our expectations! We first met him at BBC Gardeners World Spring Fair at Beaulieu and he spoke passionately about his stream designs and set up. This was followed by a home visit where he outlined a possible integrated design for a 3m pondless stream. We took the plunge and were then amazed as the stream materialised and were left in wonder. Our beautiful, natural stream has stunned everyone who has seen it, it draws us in with the calming sound of running water. We immediately saw new wildlife visiting our garden - butterflies, dragonflies, birds. It’s stunning and truly low maintenance and reliable. Chris and Scott were such a great pleasure to work with. They produced a beautiful waterscape in the 5 days they said they would and on the budget agreed. They consulted with me and listened to my requests, offered advice and were just brilliant. I love the waterscape and have been busy adding more plants. The glacial boulders and pebbles look great and have been used to great effect to create 10 little cascades into the pond where I will put lotus and waterlilies. Chris and Scott are reliable, trustworthy and deliver what they promise. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending them. Scott has completely transformed my garden in accordance with my designer’s concept plan and nothing has been too much trouble. He is professional, very hardworking and keeps calm under stress, e.g. paving materials arriving in a huge lorry which could not navigate our narrow access lane! He has a very positive attitude and all the work carried out has been of very high quality. He also offers fixed price quotes and, if problems do arise which could result in extra expenditure, he keeps the customer well informed so there are no ‘hidden’ extras. He is also an expert at constructing ponds and waterfalls and has built a beautiful natural pond in keeping with my wishes for a wildlife friendly garden. I would highly recommend Serenescapes to anyone considering a landscaping/water feature project. ~ Claire F

This will be a really difficult review to write as the English language only has so many superlatives. Scott and Chris built us a Japanese style pond and watercourse. Scott was the first pond designer (of quite a few) who actually listened to what I wanted. He made many suggestions and helped my fantasy become possible. They both travelled a huge distance every day. They were, without fail, cheerful, friendly, helpful and pleasant to have around. They moved nine tons of boulders, by hand, down a narrow access. They moved a huge, fully grown, acer down the same narrow access in a way I could not believe. They were meticulous about detail, uncompromising in their desire to provide the perfect pond. All of their suggestions were helpful. The finished pond is so wildly beyond my expectations that I can’t quite believe it. I’m having trouble wiping the smile off my face. Scott did a great job of transforming the end of our garden into a babbling brook ,and creating two raised beds.This has added a lovely relaxing feature to our garden and the sound of the water is mesmerising ... Scott worked very hard all week in very hot weather conditions but was able to deliver this beautiful stream and surrounding area within six days. We are very pleased with the final results and have received many positive comments from friends and family.
